These are a few of my compositions from the "phase one" assignment for project one.  Initially, I thought that all of the constraints for the assignment were somewhat excessive.  While I worked, I reached points where I thought I couldn't think of anything else, but then I had breakthroughs where I had to think outside the box I had previously been thinking in.  I wouldn't have done that without the constraints of the assignment.
